Operation Christmas Child and the Dollarama

I got an Operation Christmas Child shoebox yesterday at church. This is a program run by Samaritan's Purse that delivers Christmas gifts to children all over the world. To participate, you fill a shoebox full of school supplies, hygiene items, other toys and gifts, and a note. There's a sticker label to mark the outside of the box as to the intended recipient's gender and age range. We found some fun stuff at the Dollarama, and yes, I realize that I mention the Dollarama with great frequency on this blog. :) I had a great time choosing gifts for an unknown little girl somewhere in the world, and I hope it brings a smile to someone's face this Christmas.
