First Look

S was still busy setting up sound stuff in the reception venue when I arrived. Somehow it all got done, and he got ready so that we had a few minutes alone for our First Look. I had hoped to do it outside with the fall leaves, but it was dark and cold, so we did it indoors in a room at the venue.

It was calming to have those few minutes alone together to connect with each other and to let go of the task-oriented mentality, and allow myself to be in the moment and experience the magnitude of it all.
